Auditions for Studio 10’s Doubt: A Parable

Auditions for Doubt: a Parable A Studio 10 Production This intense drama is set in fictional St. Nicholas Church School in the Bronx during the fall of 1964.  Sister Aloysius, the principal at St. Nicholas, begins to doubt the integrity of her parish Priest, Father Flynn, when she learns that he has met privately with one of Sister James’ students.  This amazing play inspires us to think deeply about important topics like faith vs. skepticism, traditional vs. progressive education, abuses of power, religious repression, integration in the 1960s, and, of course, the unsettling nature of doubt.
