By purchasing a ticket from Richmond Civic Theatre, you agree to the following patron and staff terms and conditions.  

  • Patrons of RCT are asked to follow the same masking and social distancing policies as our staff and volunteers:  Everyone entering RCT, for whatever purpose, should continue to wear face coverings and distance themselves as much as possible. Masks are available throughout the theatre if needed.  
  • RCT will not ask about the vaccinations status of its patrons.  
  • RCT is a place of inclusion and will not tolerate discrimination or abuse toward any staff, volunteer or patron over their vaccination status, or any other matter.  
  • Patrons will be discouraged from congregating in the lobby.
  • At this time, RCT will not be offering any food/drink concessions before, during, or after performances.
  • Water fountains will remain closed.  
  • All shows will be performed without an intermission to prevent crowding in the lobby.  
  • Lobby main doors will be kept open before and after each show (weather permitting) to allow for fresh air circulation.  
  • Doors to the house will be open one hour prior to the performance, and seating will begin immediately. 
  • Lobby and entry surfaces will be cleaned after the show begins, and seats/venue will be cleaned between each performance, rehearsal, and event. 
  • Frequency of cleaning will be increased in all areas, and high-touch surfaces and high-traffic areas will be cleaned throughout the duration of events. 
  • Volunteers/employees working with patrons are encouraged towear face coverings.  
  • Hand sanitizing stations are placed throughout the building for regular use.. 
  • Patrons who have recently been sick or have a fever are asked to stay home, and flexible refund/exchange policies will accommodate this. 
  • All ticket sales will collect contact information so that patrons may be reached if needed. 
  • Any meet and greet with the cast will take place out of doors, weather permitting.  Patrons are not allowed on stage following a performance.  
  • Seating will not be distanced
  • The COVID-19 situation is ever-changing and restrictions may need to be added or removed by RCT’s Board of Directors as we move thru the season. If an event must be cancelled or postponed, you will be contacted.
  • As a patron, I understand that Richmond Civic Theatre, Inc. will not be held responsible in the event of illness, and that I am participating at my OWN risk. I may be taking a risk by attending any performance.
